    Can I root Amazon Fire 7 on any of these versions?

    I have two devices I want to root: 1. fire 7 (9th gen) running on 6.3.1.5 FireOS 2. fire 7 (7th gen) running on 5.6.6.0 FireOS Is either one of these devices rootable? Any links of how-to's would be helpful.

    I do know how to enter Odin mode, but the problem with flashing any ROM is that I can't get my computer to recognize the device. I've tried many drivers, but none of them worked.

    It is a galaxy S4. I believe the Android version was 5.1.1 if that helps.
