Yup, you are correct. I think it's the Verizon vs AT&T sim that is playing with my phone.

I have been told that this is an issue when using a Verizon phone (their own software) with another carrier'ens SIM. I don't have an international plan, so I don't know why I'm getting these "+" signs. I can call my cell from the office land line, and it comes through as +58 542 20000, where...

I've got an i535 running an AT&T sim with a few issues. I would like to know how to turn off the "+" that indicates international calls, from all unknown incoming calls. It's really annoying, because I can't simply call someone back. If they aren't in my address book, I need to either add them...
