Utterly bonkers.. The G8 is a current flagship and you can't compare with an S7. I had a G4 which for me easily trumped the Samsung as I had the S7 as a replacement for a stolen G4 so has plenty of time with both! To compare with a one plus 6T it's also folly as it's way superior hardware wise...

Always wondered how you flashed these, so am I right in thinking that you download the full kdz then using restore select that kdz to restore to?

It tickles me that I've Instagram posts off people raving about their new wide angle camera on their cutting edge Samsung S10.. Been there years.. And still I get pictures from the G7 that I've not seen matched by any device. No plans to jump ship yet!

Between 4&1/2 and 5&1/2 hours screen on time with great stand by. Regularly get to the end of the day with 40% plus. No complaints whatsoever.

Agree, though seeing as the update to 8.0 killed my G6' s battery life I'd sooner it be right than rushed out prematurely!

Agreed, HDR on gives inconsistent results..I use the Pixel Cam for those kind of pictures, but G7 can produce results that you could never get on a Pixel 2!

Or face unlock.. It works pretty well on the G7, which for me wasn't replicated in the G6!

Really good, a level up from the G6, more akin to samsung's oled display in terms of brightness but obviously there's a trade off with the battery taking a hit if you are looking for max brightness more often than not!
