    Unlock Phone Sprint Galaxy S4

Here's the bottom line: Sprint will unlock devices, if capable, for qualified customers, but the phones will only work in other countries. There are software blocks in place to prevent domestic usage. There are always ways around that though. I'm available to help anyone who wants to get their...

WTF is using my battery/keeping my phone awake!?!?

I have seen BBS recommended but haven't pulled the trigger. I'll take a look if turning off GLS doesn't fix it. Although there's still clearly something deeper with the OS because that bug isn't present in every Android phone. Did you also disable the "Location + Google Search" option, or just...

WTF is using my battery/keeping my phone awake!?!?

I still don't think it's a Google thing. Just looked at the stats on my Razr HD Maxx. Kernel use is 2.5%. It's 50% in the screenshots above. And my Maxx has every single location source and setting turned on, even satellite GPS, which has been off on my One. I'm blaming Sense.

WTF is using my battery/keeping my phone awake!?!?

See I have GPS turned off. Network location only. But the usual Google location services are all turned on. Can't be a Google thing if it's not happening to every phone... Where is the specific setting that you changed?

WTF is using my battery/keeping my phone awake!?!?

So I was having a bad battery drain issue after I got my One. Decided to relock and flash stock RUU. Completely stock system now. 80% lost in 14.5 hours with only half an hour of screen time. Funny thing is, the HTC battery stats don't seem to think the phone was awake much. My battery apps...

    Sprint HTC One

Well according to him, he's pretty sure it's the Snappy from everything they've been told. He's not techy like me so he doesn't pay extra close attention to all the details (he's more about # of cores and speed rather than what's actually in it) but it's a universal phone from what they've been...

    Sprint HTC One

Wait... what? I said nothing about frequencies. What I said was that an FCC filing does not confirm anything about what processor is used in a device. I'm claiming that it won't use a Snapdragon because of an internal training slide that I saw with my own 2 eyes. There are LTE phones that use...

    Sprint HTC One

An FCC filing has nothing to do with the processor. It has to deal with the wireless transmitters - wifi, bluetooth, cellular, and NFC. The blurb in there about the Snapdragon was copied from HTC's release - they're not getting that from the FCC filing.

Hmmm I wonder if your training will be the same or different.
