    4.3 OTA

That or among the other things you've changed for LTE (build.prop, maybe even a custom recovery). Flash the factory image then flash the radio 'hybrid' on xda for LTE.

Haha, nope. Custom recovery is still here after rebooting. Tis a mystery! But thanks anyways!

    [GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Unlock & Root

Under the "Root It" tab of your guide, and following the steps to BOOT recovery.img via flashboot results in me rebooting into a black screen, and it just stays like that. To get around this, I powered off the phone, booted into flashboot, and instead of booting in flashboot, I FLASHED...

    [GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Unlock & Root

As of right now, I've flashed the 4.3 factory image (hence my last post in the other thread). Bootloader unlocked. I've tried booting the recovery.img via flashboot, but as mentioned previously, it just reboots into a blackscreen. I can hear the USB notifcation on my computer when it reboots...

    [GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Unlock & Root

So, I've unlocked my bootloader and such... but when I reach the step to boot into recovery.img, the cmd prompt says its downloaded (okay) then rebooting (okay)... then my phone is just at a black screen. Nothing happens. I've tried flashing the recovery, which works, but superuser doesn't...

[GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Factory Image Restore

So I followed this guide (trying to go back from rooted, stock 4.2.2 ROM, .33 radio for LTE) to update to 4.3. Everything worked fine (I think), but its been at the X splash screen for about 10 minutes now. Also noticed that it stays at the "Google" screen longer than before, then going to the...

Have You Gotten Jelly Bean 4.3? Thread

If you take a look in the factory image download for the Nexus 4, there in a new radio file inside. .84 is the new radio now. This radio obviously doesn't have LTE on it and apparently flashing to an old radio as others have done to get LTE, causes the no audio problem to come back...

Help me get LTE on my Nexus 4 running OS 4.2.2

    1. Unlock bootloader & Root 2. Flash older radio (most people are using .27 or .33) *Note: If you are using stock 4.2.2 and flashing an older radio, you will have absolutely NO audio during calls, you will need to fix this manually 3. Add TMobile LTE APN in Settings APN: fast.t-mobile.com MMSC...

Why is google maps being super active?

You can try taking a look at your location settings in Maps. Mine are on, but don't seem to have the issues you're having.

    Screen protector necessary?

You honestly should be fine without one. I used to have a screen protector but couldn't stand the rubbery/nonglass feeling and just took it off. Assuming you're not exposing your phone to sand, you generally should be okay. I just always make sure to put my phone in the pocket that doesn't...

Love the phone! But skeptical about the battery

I can watch movies streaming for 3 hours and I still have about 50% battery left. I don't have issues with my phone lasting throughout the day. Sounds like your game just eats up your battery. One thing I can say is that after a few days to a week of getting my Nexus 4, battery life was much...

will t-mobile replace your 8gb with a 16gb (its all they sell)

By that logic, wouldn't I be able to buy a cheap phone on from TMo, insure it, then replace it with a more expensive phone out of my own pocket and expect TMo to replace it if it's broke/lost/stolen? Pretty sure insurance doesn't transfer over to phones, especially ones you haven't purchased...

A Way to Get Band 4 LTE back After 4.2.2 OTA

Any idea how this affects the battery life flashing the old radio back? A majority of people seem to have significantly improved battery life (including me).
