I actually like the portrait button placement because I read a lot of ebooks. But, the former placement did make sense and was very intuitive for browsing since I pretty much always browse in landscape mode.

YES! I got my S5 after having an iPhone 4 (3.5 inch screen!) so the S5 screen felt huge. Now I find myself tempted by the Note 4's screen though........ But I feel like I haven't had the S5 long enough to justify jumping over. We'll see....

One nice thing about the S5 is that it works like a plug and play device. I just plug it into my phone, open it the way I would an external HDD or USB and then drag the pictures wherever I want them.

I just looked at the settings for my paired car bluetooth & it lists "use for phone audio" but not the "use for media audio" option. Does this mean my car doesn't support media over bluetooth, only phone audio?

I use Transparent Clock & Weather widget. Works really well. For alarm, I just use the stock alarm.

Nope. I really like the S5. If I were to switch to another Android right now it'd probably be the Note 4 when it comes out. I tend to stay with one device for at least one year (before my S5, I was using an iPhone 4!) though.

I'm on Rogers. I did the update.... but so far can't tell what, if anything, has changed. No new apps have been added. Widgets look the same. I haven't gone through all of the menus looking for changes though.
