The article stated that it may take 24 hours for the patch to reach all the phones. I have no idea why this would be, but my phone is good now.

Android Police reported they have rollrd out the fix! Restarted my phone and it seems to be fine. HOORAAY#$!!!

Just dropped internet again so not perfect but much better.

I wasn't having that much trouble. My issues were the frequent error popup lg ims stopped... Dropping to 2G and dropping internet connection altogether. I use mobile data only.

I have just installed ulttasurf vpn. It's free from google play. Have not had a popup yet! Android 9. I'll let you know if it fails.

Has anyone contacted the FTC or the FCC, or a lawyer. We are all dependant on this technology and this is maddening!!

I have an lg k40 and have this problem also. It's 4 years old running version 9. Last update May 21 2021. Cannot be updated. Carrier is Metro. Was wondering if the newer OS like 11, 12 are also affected?
