    Definitely, specs wise the N5 is fine as-is. Also, LG stated that they are not making the next Nexus phone, so I would assume that an updated N5 would be considered a new phone, but a regular N5 with more storage wouldn't be.

    Good point. Nexus phones typically include the top-of-the-line specs from that year, however it might have been to expensive to pack those specs into a $350 phone (assuming that they want to retain that price). It would make sense if Google just made the 32gb N5 $350 and add a 64gb option for $400.

    If I can recall correctly, a few months ago there was a leak saying that Google would launch a 64gb N5 alongside the N6 (I couldn't find the article, sorry). I seriously doubt that Google would launch a 5.9" phone without catering to those who don't want a massive phone, and don't want to shell...
