[UPDATE] Finally I could fix it by changing my USB debugging settings.

phone doesn't charge at all. But when turned off, charging logo appears for 5 seconds then comes off and back on and repeats this cycle over and over. Still not gaining charge

nope... seriously nope.. when i charge my phone while its off.. it will give an empty battery and a bolt logo.. but, the battery level isnt increasing.
