I'm supposed to send mine to Lewisville TX, is that the same facility as Coppell? Google Maps show them as being 7.6 miles apart, so I'm guessing it is :(

Just got mine! WARNING: UPS left it at the door, didn't even knock. Good thing I saw the truck drive by. Next time, I'm having it held at a pick-up point.

I bought a 2 TB Samsung T7 Shield SSD when it was on sale, it can do a 50 GB SmartSwitch backup in 8 minutes (for some reason the screen shows 2+ hours, it's never even close to that). I haven't done a restore from it yet, I guess I'll find out lol.

The phone I ordered on samsung.com is being shipped by UPS. Delivery on pace for 2/14.

That's a bad idea from a security standpoint. Somebody can get a hold of the new phone & can potentially extract your information from it. Also, you'd still have to copy any changes made from the time the new phone was shipped until you received it.

The ring detaches, that may allow it to lay flat. I guess I'll find out after my phone arrives.

Especially if Samsung/the carriers/the stores offer good trade-in values and/or "free" upgrades to more RAM/storage. The bump from 8/128 to 12/512 was the deciding factor for me last year.

If Samsung does the free upgrade from 8GB/256 to 12GB/512, would you consider that option?

Pro 5 with LTE here. Received the watch on 8/23, charged it to 100% & started wearing it at about 2 pm. I accidentally left it on the first night, turned it off last night so let's say 40 hours total of on time. It's currently at 53%, so hopefully I won't have to charge it again until tomorrow...

I took the band off of my Gear 4 Classic & put it on the 5 Pro, it lays flat now. Called Samsung & had them put it in writing that I'm sending the trade-in without the band without any penalties or deductions. Seriously, did they *not* test the watch band before offering a charger that is...

I don't think Galaxy S phones have ever had that feature. You may be able to use Secure Folder to set up something similar.
