The waterfall display on the 8 pro is real and without a case, you will have accidental touches. Having said that, the display itself is amazing. I can deal with the curved edges because the QHD 120Hz is worth it to me.

Yes, and that is why I want to have the phone swapped. Google is on record saying that they wanted the display to be more color accurate, but it's very difficult to view a photo at any angle that is not dead on straight and have that experience. The blue tint will make all pictures look cooler...

The thing that is bothering me is that Google will not even swap it it out to see if a newer phone would show less blue shift. If it was still the same, then I would just grin and bear it because I really like the Pixel 2 XL, but the fact that they are not willing to do so is frustrating.

They are not willing to swap it out for me. They keep telling me this is normal and that is ultimately the issue. I asked Google to swap it out and see if the new phone would be better but they will not.

I haven't gone to a Verizon store or Best Buy to compare. I'll make my way there this week.

Sometimes yes. It was more to show that at a shallow angle the blue shift is pretty severe.

I currently have an open case with Google with regard to the blue tint on my Pixel XL 2 display. It seems to be getting worse and finding a sweet spot is getting more difficult. So, Google is now asking for pictures that show the issue. I sent several and they tell me the ere is nothing wrong...

You also use to be able to set specific notification sounds for Gmail labels and that was removed as well. Not sure why Google is moving towards less options
