The LG Nexus 5X's camera will NOT have OIS [RUMOR]

Not to my knowledge. In fact, quite the opposite. Moto X is excellent to superior in ideal lighting scenarios but drops off dramatically in low-light.

The LG Nexus 5X's camera will NOT have OIS [RUMOR]

no, but I've seen them from the G4 (OIS) and the Moto X Pure (no OIS) and know enough to appreciate the added value there. Software is great (better all the time), but OIS is pretty valuable to me. for a Small premium (from the 5X) or the same price (6P), I can get OIS (with the trade-off of...

The LG Nexus 5X's camera will NOT have OIS [RUMOR]

When the prices came out I was like "great, the 6P is in my range, I'll just get that since the 5X doesn't offer 64GB." Then they said "no OIS on either." Now, I'm thinking that the LG G4 might be the best value below $500. I think I'd give up the fingerprint scanner for OIS and a clearly...

Original Factory CAD 3D pics of the Nexus 5X.

at those prices, I would walk, nay RUN, right out and buy a Moto X Pure instead of the 5X.

At this point, I think you could be right. $299/$349. Maybe $349/$399. the lack of a 64GB option, kills this phone for me. :-(

UPDATED: Announcement on September 29th. Pre-Order on October 13th?

Can you link where that information is coming from? I remember that @OnLeaks suggested those dimensions over a month ago with the idea (at that time) that the 5X was going to be a metal phone. Obviously things have changed a bit. Likewise, I don't recall anyone else independently confirming...

UPDATED: Announcement on September 29th. Pre-Order on October 13th?

Re: UPDATED: Announcement for both Nexi on September 29th awww yisss! That's great timing for me. Shortly after that, there's Microsoft's Lumia even on October 6. Then I can finally make a decision between Moto X Pure, Nexus 5x, and Lumia 950/XL (so long as MS doesn't screw it up with...

Authentic Leaks Compilation for the 5X and 6P

Re: Rumors & Leaks Compilation for the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6Y Why wait? Isn't that the same sort of fallacy that PC gamers fall into with their GPUs, though? There's always something newer and better on the horizon. The real measure should be whether or not your current device meets with the...

Going to have 2 phones? Nexus 2015 and ?

No plans whatsoever to keep/use two handsets, but if I did (and one of them was the Nexus 5X), then the other would definitely be one of the upcoming Windows Mobile handsets just to see what MS tries to do with W10 on mobile. I've never been high on Apple or encouraging the kind of price...

    LG Nexus 5 Specs: Snapdragon 808, 5.2 1080p, 3GB RAM, 2700mah battery

I would agree partly. The top bezel is fine (not great, but not problematic). The bottom bezel is almost unforgivable considering that the fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone. It makes me wonder if the leaker has purposefully hidden something under his/her thumb. I'm not sure...

    From OnLeaks, Get Excited

I've got to think that 3-3.5 hours of Screen On Time for the Moto X is a dubious number at best because it depends entirely what processes that screen (and the underlying SoC) are working on. If we're talking about 3.5 hours of constant gaming, that's one thing, but if we're talking 3.5 hours...

Huawei Nexus SD810 is a DEAL BREAKER for me

Re: Hauwei Nexus DEAL BREAKER!! I'm not really sure what anyone was hoping for. Short of being able to use an Exynos chip in a handset, pretty much any 2015 "flagship" was always going to be using the SD810 (if for no other reason than to pad margins, since performance is basically on par with...

    From OnLeaks, Get Excited

That's probably only true for the flagship purchase. For the person looking to dip a toe into the "high end" (or at least the high mid-range), then it's a great year to buy a phone. There's an incredible amount of value at the $400 mark this year. It's really quite wonderful (even if it's...

The rumoured camera of the LG Nexus - how will it perform?

The camera performance will likely be the deciding factor in my Autumn purchase of a phone. I'm debating between a Nexus 5X, a Moto X Pure, and even considering the upcoming Lumia 950/XL. I'd love to pair a large screen and a great camera, but if the camera on the Nexus is markedly better...
