I searched the other 4.3 threads and couldn't find anything on these so I thought I'd ask here. 1) Is there any way to get rid of the annoying "Google Now" function that's linked to the home button? I always double tap home to bring up the multi-task window and often it thinks I'm swiping up...

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue after installing 4.3: Sometimes when I respond or forward to an email, I try to select the body of the email in order to type my response - but the cursor simply does not appear! Instead I have to discard the message, and reopen the email again...

Damn it, ANdroid 4.3 update has re-added the "Tips and Help" blue boxes in blinkfeed, and alex's trick above doesn't work anymore... Anyone have a solution?

Holy crap... I reluctantly tried this without much optimism and IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Thanks so much man.... you figured out the million dollar question that HTC itself couldn't answer! Someone give this man a gold star! :)

I called HTC and we literally spent over an hour on the issue. We tried everything from playing with the phone settings, to the blinkfeed content settings, to wiping the cache partition, to even messing with the phones "hidden" settings that a special booting technique which I won't mention...

None of these solutions have worked for me. It's definitely not a delay issue. I've researched this for almost a month and nobody has really been able to provide an actual tried and true solution to get rid of these blue boxes so I just gave up and have accepted it. I simply think HTC made now...

Let's stick to the topic, which is the annoying, un-removable blue boxes! :p It feels like I've seen over a hundred of these and they just keep coming... wouldn't surprise me if HTC is constantly releasing new ones.

Thanks for the feedback. It's been about a month and they still haven't gone away for me... if anything it feels like they're popping up even more often. At least now I know I'm not the only one who has this issue. I will try emailing HTC about this... it's still driving me absolutely nuts.

What exactly do you mean by "customizing"? If you could point me to a specific "customization" that turns that off, it would be much appreciated.

Yup I've fully searched through the options for apps/topics/categories, etc and they still appear. They are in big blue boxes that are labelled as "Tips & Help". If you tap the dropdown under "highlights" then you can see them all listed under hte category at the very bottom called "Apps". I...
