By all accounts the Mate 10 has a great camera, I was more asking if there are reviews as negative of the V30 camera as this thread. I've seen reviews that like other cameras more, but none of them state the V30 is completely outbid these other cameras league.

Did it? It's not getting amazing reviews, but I haven't seen a review where the V30 is crushed by another camera. I don't see it being gushed over, but the g6 wasn't gushed over and it did quite well in blind comparison tests.

You are my camera guru Mike. How would you say the camera compares to your V20? The reason I ask is that the V30 is already $300 off on my carrier and I'm considering snapping it up.

how many people making these comments own the phone? just curious if this is based on personal experience or not.

I believe the Canadian model is the LG H915 (at least mine is on Freedom (Wind)). you could compare the frequencies of these two models and see if the 990 has all the 915 ones. I would guess it does, with maybe the exception of Band 66.

Since there are a few of you with this issue can you post a list of your installed apps? perhaps by comparing you can see if there is a problem appnin there. may save you the effort of a factory reset.

I bought the Spigen tempered glass. It does not go right to the edge of the glass owing to the curve at the top and bottom, but it covers all of the "screen" and sticks perfectly. Highly recommended.
