Voice to text does not work while driving. Had to go back to froyo.

I downgraded to 2.2 because the voice search did not work while I drive in 2.3.

I hope so, as those are my only complaints.

yes the lack of voice recognition while driving is a serious problem.

I was rooted with froyo, then updated with the rooted gingerbread. This morning I was able to restore to froyo with a nandroid backup made prior to the upgrade.

I have the same problem. The terrible part is I went to this phone primarily for the voice search function.

The airave will not pick up a call initiated outside its coverage area. So what your are describing is normal. I am only speaking about the first airave, I have no knowledge whether the newer one fixes that issue.
