Everything Google for me is dark EXCEPT Gmail, which is annoying since I'm in it the most.

Are ALL of your icons in frames? I hate that too, and turned it off. Nearly all of my icons aren't in frames, HOWEVER all of my Google ones (gMail, Play, YouTube, etc.) are still in frames. I think those are just the icons. I'm not a fan of those either. They're ugly.

Just to follow up on this, I've done the following: Enabled Google Now. Enabled/disabled all Notifications. Disabled Google Now. Enabled/disabled all traffic Notifications in Maps. Repeated the exercise on the other device on the account. So far today, I received no alerts. Either that...

Yep, first placed I looked. All of those notifications have been off for many moons. Still getting traffic notifications.

Only way I've done it is to install a 3rd party handler like one of the File Managers. Pick your sound with that, and it seems to stick. I'm annoyed by this as well, and Twitter @support ignores me.

Meh. I don't like this. This is a skirt of responsibility. "Our stuff works great, it's everyone else's app." So what, anything that uses Bluetooth except for the OS and Samsung apps must go? I don't think so............. What's annoying is that the BT connection to my car is rock solid...

ALL sounds, both built-in and added ones. The alarm, for example, was a built-in sound. My eMail ones are added in (internal storage).
