I don't have the beta Google Phone app on my 4a (not 5G) and it just prompted me if I wanted to turn on Hold For Me.

I wonder if Visible still has stock. That's where I got mine, with literally one day next day shipping, unlocked and no obligation to sign up for the service.

I solved this problem long before I got the Pixel 4a. I'm one of those "old school" people who found and used an "old Bell phone" ringtone for both ringtone and alarms. But it was too low in volume, so I ran it though an audio editor, boosted the volume somewhat, and re-saved it...

After my last post, I tried gestures again. I got used to them very quickly. I have to think a bit every so often, but I am 95% there now.

I tried the gestures, didn't like them (had trouble to get them working consistently), and went to 3 button almost immediately.

I also just received the January 2020 security update. Android One, unlocked.

I also think that the vibrate is too weak, but I am learning to be more sensitive to it. The ringtone volume is fine. Other than that, I am thrilled with the X4.

I used my Verizon-sold Moto E5 Play with WiFi Calling (and of course, VoLTE), but for some reason, WiFi Calling doesn't work on unlocked phones not sold by Verizon...like the X4.

Verizon doesn't allow WiFi Calling on non-Verizon sold phones (like the X4 Android One). VOLTE does work.

And just got it (March) here as well. Like what happened after the February patch, SwiftKey went all BIG, with huge letters and the keyboard taking nearly the full screen. But a quick restart fixed it.

In my case, I had to re-pair the sites by rescanning the QR code on Authenticator on the X4.

Just got the February patch on this Android One X4. Same as above.
