I hope I'm not out of the subject, but did you tried to take a look on Garmin fenix 3 hr? I'm using it for a about 2 years and I'm absolutely delighted... Battery lasts for 1-2 weeks, records are great... Just take a look on the internet and maybe think about it...

The battery on S8 is worse than the S7, in my opinion...
