I did end up selling my Nexus 4. I couldn't deal with 3 hours of screen time and the phone not lasting past 7 pm. I know it's off topic but I bought an iPhone 5 and couldn't be happier. Easily get 6-7 hours of screen time on HSPA+ and today I got 8.5 on Wi-Fi. My Nexus 4 will be missed though.

I completely agree. It's stupid that you have to turn off all of your features but unfortunately that's the only way to get good battery. I have location settings off, sync off, vibrate on keypress off , Google voice recognition off, NFC off, brightness at 15 percent . And I can only get around...

Dude reduce the screen brightness to about 10. That's what does the trick. And do you have GPS on?
