I do have a screen protector. I'd hate to remove it and it not be the problem but it might be worth the try. Thanks for the tip.

I am having this same problem on my Note9. It just stops recording at random times. Very frustrating since I am really wanting to make videos.

For some reason my video camera just keeps automatically stopping on my s8. Sometimes it stops after a short time and sometimes it let's me record over a minute. Does anyone know why it keeps doing this? It's frustrating because I make a lot of videos for work. Thanks
