I'm using the 3.1 ver w/ the radio, but having issues w/ notifications, the volume is cranked for all the notifications but it is very very low volume when a notification comes through. Anyone having the same issue?

What's your Android and software version? Where are you getting stuck? Is your phone recognized as an ADB device in device manager? If not, try using a USB port on the BACK of your computer, and/or a different USB cable, preferably the one that came w/ the phone.

Yeah, you can use open garden wifi tethering when rooted... revolution root does work with gingerbread version 2.11.605.5. but NOT 2.11.605.9- which is the OTA they released 12/15/2011.

Boot to the revolution and choose "wipe cache partition" first, you may not have to do a factory reset. If that doesn't work try the steps above. Google "boot loop revolutionary"

How can I unlock the phone to downgrade? If I try to flash an older pg05img it just errors out and says that the version is older. IF i can get this to work, im loading a custom rom, not more OTA.

If you're stuck in a boot loop, just hold vol down and power when the device is rebooting and choose clear cache, reboot phone. You're prob not an idiot like me. I unrooted got the updates, and now I can't re-root because of today's updates. So now im stuck with a crappy non rooted phone, but...

I have the same issue, i got the latest update from vzn today 2.11.605.9, which is NOT the GB update, which is 2.11.605.5 and I am unable to re-root using the revolutionary tool. Anyone have ANYWAY to get s-off so I can downgrade the pg05img.zip?? help, this phone sucks with no root.
