Sorry about not sharing but since my post the software update file has returned and I am still trying to find a solution and if and when I find out how to remove this I will share on the site

My device downloaded software update and because of sd card problem I do not want to upgrade how do I remove this file from device as I cannot find where the file us being stored, any help with this would be appreciated....thanks in advance I found solution so please ignore this post.....thanks

I upgraded to this dreaded 4.4.2 and am very sorry I did because like everyone I have the sd card problem where apps are no longer working and I spoke to Samsung support and they recommended a factory rest might solve it but I am reluctant to do this because its not only me complaining but...

Well I bit the bullet and updated to 4.3 and my phones build is now XXEUMK8 and so far its working a treat and hope it stays that way :-)

I see Samsung Galaxy S4 has resumed the suspended 4.3 update as I have been offered it OTA and was wondering if the problems have been sorted so some encouragement from fellow S4 users with working 4.3 update to eases my mind before I install update

For anyone interested about disappearance of the 4.3 update from kies and OTA it has been suspended by Samsung because of feed back from angry customers as told to me today after I contacted customer service technical support and they could not tell me when it will be available again
