I have the same problem with the Samsung Note 4 and the Samsunge S7. Bluetooth frequently disconnects from any bluetooth connected. I have found no permanent solution but every so often I have to unpair all devices and wipe the cache partition, sometimes twice. Then all is normal for a few weeks...

I did a reboot and wiped the cache partition and it seemed to help. There was a good article on fixing issues in androidauthority.

Same problem. It started with the Note Edge. Got an S7 and it is still an issue.
