No removable battery is the deal-killer for me. I say this because I had an iphone 5 with severe battery defects before I realized that I was among the batch of iphones to get a defective battery and it was recalled and I was entitled to a new battery. But that was 2 years into having the phone.

Best tablet deal is probably the ipad mini 2 (not the mini 3). Still available, and pretty affordable.

I think the battery is pretty good. Much better than my old iPhone 5 but then again the iPhone 5 was notorious for its poor battery.

I like to visit Appleinsider. It's kind of a crazy place but at least one hilariously over the top comment will be made per thread.
