I have a Bluetooth USB adapter from MediaLink [originally bought for my desktop PC to give it Bluetooth capability). On my Samsung Galaxy Tab (Wifi only) I can plug it in [with the use of a Samsung adapter, yes--an adapter for an adapter] (and of course if I do so, I can't charge the tablet)...

Question Re Stolen Device Strategies/Tactics Is there any way of preventing a thief from doing a hard reset/factory reset, and wiping out all the anti-theft apps? Or to put the question another way, even if a thief does that, is there still some way of tracing your device?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7") wifi only. I would like to try out an auto nav app but when my device is on the dashboard its screen is way too small to see, i. e., it's too far away. It appears that the only solution is to purchase a mount type system that would allow me to pivot & swing...

Try using "android as 2nd monitor" in a Google Search, and you will get a number of hits re how to do this; the hits that I reviewed are basically tutorials with step by step instructions, i. e., it is, according to these tutorials by individuals that have done it, realistically doable.

I typically search for an app in the Playstore on my desktop PC; I do so in a browser without cookies enabled, and without being signed in to my Google account; I also make liberal consistent use of browser history/track erasers, i. e., I doubt aside from my MAC address whether Google would know...

I tend to 'research' new apps to install from my desktop PC (much easier/faster to search/read the reviews for multiple apps that serve the same purpose, etc.,). But, on occasion, when I decide upon a new app, and go to my device's Google Playstore, and search for it (by name), it doesn't show...
