HAHA! I appreciate that. Any idea how many attempts somebody can make before it locks you out? I think I've seen to many movies where they crack the code....with seconds to spare....

oh, that makes sense, thanks. I kind of wish there was a "secret" way to pull up the PIN entry, maybe a gesture or something.

Oh, well, I see i did attach the screen shot. So anyway-I don't know why the PIN shows up when i turn the phone on. It would seem to me that would be "hidden." Now it gives someone the opportunity to enter a my PIN to unlock the phone. This is a 6 do it does not have the finger print scanner...

When I activate my phone the home screen displays the screen unlock PIN option. Is there a way to hide this? I mean, why even give someone the chance to enter a PIN? It kind of defeats the purpose of the finger print scan. Thanks

It's time to move on from Shamu. I was going to buy a new phone but with all the 5G news coming out I'm wondering if it would be better to wait until next year. I suppose they will all be $1000+ phones....sigh....

This is a great strategy. I got an N6 on Amazon for around $250 on Black Friday--the 64MB model. Yes, I'm "behind" in devices but is that a bad thing? As an average user is it awful that I don't have a 6P? Not really. The phone has everything I need and most of what I want. You won't ever...

I tell ya, the detail in these apps is amazing. I was using Texta and of course this defaulted to the Google texting app. I wasn't aware of the screen not waking....that is a really helpful feature...thx

Perfect timing! My 2013 Moto X is hanging in there but it took a dive into a cup of coffee and did a hard drop to the floor...it's getting ready for retirement!!
