Still having this problem. If you hold down the power key, for about 10 seconds, you can hard shut down the Samsung S3. I've done it. My problem now is that my power key is so sensitive, if I'm just touching it, it's like I'm pressing it all the way down. Thus, it sometimes turns off. At times...
