It's meant to do that in case you set your phone down somewhere with a wired headset still connected so you're able to still hear alarm and call, and notification sounds. Only media sounds will remain connected to the earphones. It's like that on every phone I've purchased in the last two years.

One feature I love on my Nexus 6 is having trusted devices and places so when I'm wearing my G Watch or I'm at home, I can unlock the phone right away without going through any security checks.

Own both phones and the Nexus 6 is still way smoother than the Note 4. Smoother scrolling, faster app switching, able to hold more apps in the RAM, the performance on my Note 4 has gotten better after a hard reset but it's still not in the same level as my Nexus 6.

Wow. I get 5-6 SOT on my Note 4 and I think it's awesome. Not as good as my OnePlus One but it's very good for a QHD screen.
