    Go into the group chat or thread. Click on 3 dots in top right. There is a bell at the bottom. If you click on it it should turn them back on.

    Could you have data saving mode on (circle with a plus inside it in the status bar) ? It stops background data use.

    Go into settings, display, screen mode and play with the options there. Basic will definitely mute all the colors.

    Access your wallpaper through the gallery app. Go to the 3 dot menu and pick set as wallpaoer. You will see the option then.

    There is an option in camera settings for motion photo which records a short video before and after a photo. Perhaps she has that turned on.

    Did you factory reset the watch? My husband had to do that when switching from s4 to S7.

    Bring up the panel, click the settings button, then in top left corner of edge panel screen click the 3dot menu and then handle settings. It's been moved in nougat.
