Hmmm..... This won't be my last Samsung. Sure their customer service is a horror show, but the Galaxy S line of phones are all great. I won't go to another brand of phones just because they take ages to release new firmware updates. That being said.... Come on already, get your **** together and...

No one does it seems... The guys at Telenet say all responsibility is with Google and Samsung for pushing out the OTA updates. And Samsung tells it's the providers and "Android"....

The strangest thing happened today. I've gotten a notification telling me there was an update available. Ik click on ok, as in download it and it goes to the firmware update screen only to tell me my phone is up to date.

Damn! That sucks.... But isn't Canada a "major region"? You'd expect that the update would arrive there soon, no? [slightly off topic] This is the only thing I really hate about Android in general, this fragmentation and letting carriers chose if they even want to distribute an OTA firmware...

I never really know if I should cry or laugh at their stupidity. oh well, I guess I'll have to wait then.

Telenet keeps telling me it's Samsung and Google who are responsible for distributing OTA firmware updates. Not them.

I don't know Gento1030 is still waiting, but I'm still waiting for the update (also Belgium but on Telenet)

She just arrived on my phone. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Belgium English US Settings) I don't know if it helped, but I deleted the Google App and just updated it again. After that Google Assistant just appeared.

De mijne is simlock vrij. Telenet. OOk nog steeds geen update.
