got a new Echo applied the update and all is well. To be honest it appears that the screen on this Echo is better than my first. The colors seem more vibrant and the blacks blacker. Maybe it's just me.

yeah, it's as if the launcher apk is gone. how can I add it back if I can't get into adb? I may have to call sprint or kyocera to get it flashed again. sucks I can't download the software to do this myself. would be so much more convenient.
