I can adjust the sync period on both (which is currently 2 weeks) but I don't want all my emails from the past 5 years stored on my phone, just the facility to remotely search them as I do with the other account. Like marco44 says, it acts like it is searching for them but never returns...

The one that doesn't allow me to search uses IMAP and the one that does uses the Exchange Server. Not sure if it makes a difference but one is a hotmail.co.uk address and the other is a hotmail.com.

Thats what i thought initially so I wiped the sensor but after keep locking/unlocking a realised that it was more like lag issue rather than a sensor. It is on automatic though so I may disable that and see how i get on. Hope I don't have a duff phone :(

When the phone is locked and you press a button the screen does not illuminate even though you can seen the display change. Even when i unlock it, it take about 5 seconds for it to illuminate. I have had this happen twice now and both times I have had to restart in order to fix it.

If you are able to post some photos I can advise on why they have turned out that way and how you may improve them. In a theater you will probably find low light is the usual issue. Thanks. I will give it a try. When ever I try to replicate the issue it never happens, but will then randomly happen at another time. Im trying to recall if it has happened outside of the browser but thats what I use 80% of the time.

Had a similar issue the other day but fortunately I had woken up before my alarm. However as my phone was on silent my alarm never actually sounded and I therefore had a missed alarm. It doesn't seem that logical to have an alarm that you can miss so easily.
