Not 'Allow run in backgroud does nothing. Of course I only turner this off for a couple apps. It's even difficult to see which app(s) are the culprits.

The only setting I see in 'Battery' settings that might help is allowing type 'Allow background activity' Could that it?

I checked it out but didn't quite understand. It seems to be telling the culprot(s). Still not quite sure what I to do to fix this.

Today I got a notification from Samsung account telling me to log in to help finding my device. More often I get a notification from Device UI. No text, just the notification. What's annoying is I can't turn them off.

The only account I have associated with my tablet is my google account. I've cleared the notification, but it is listed as 'Samsung account.'

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Even though I have not added my Samsung account to the tablet, I still get notifications from the Samsung Account. Also, I'm unable to turn notifications off for Samsung Account of because the setting is grayed out. Any ideas? James

Is there an app that will remove the date and time from the lock screen on my SM-T550 tablet? I find no settings for this. Thanks, james

Re: SD Cards No Longer Being Mounted I might have damaged them when I was trying to get them out. I couldn't grab it with my finger so I use the end of a butter knife to flip it out. These are ScanDisk.

SD Cards No Longer Being Mounted Do SD cards have a lifespan? I have 2 SD cards that are no longer being mounted by Tablet or my Windows PC. Not sure how long I've had them but if I were to wager a gues I would say a year at the most. A new SD card is working fine. James

Re: Installing a New ROM on My Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. I do have an app called Task KIller that seems to be doing the job. I tried a "startup manager" but some apps started anyway after the device starts Since the device is rooted, doesn't that void the warranty?

Re: Installing a New ROM on My Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. I was hope I would have more control over which programs start at startup and which ones runs automatically. Most of all, I'm just plain curious. I want to see how much of a difference there is between the stock ROM and a new ROM.
