That wouldn't work. The terms and conditions of the insurance contract, usually state that the phone has no faults at the time of purchase. Mine did anyway.

Unfortunately, Samsung don't offer this service in the UK. It would have been a god send if they did and I'd have bought that when I got the phone

I have that exact problem. It's perfectly fine after the factory reset until I come to install apps. It will handle a few but when I have installed 6 or 7 apps, it starts to freak out. It's quite annoying that you can't revert back to 4.3 because clearly these updates aren't thoroughly tested...
