    Slow WiFi Speeds

Figured it out. It is the keyboard. When attached the download speed is degredated. With the keyboard detached the download is comparable to my other devices

I've got a Pixel C, you've got questions. Fire away!

Battery is outstanding. Weight without keyboard is very close to N9

    Slow WiFi Speeds

Confirmed here, exact same findings. Though I am wondering if this thing is just optomized for a specific protocol, seems odd that google never did a speedtest on it. Perhaps it works best on 2.4gh protocol N or something (I'm not going to try every combo though to find out ;) since it hasn't...

Pixel C bugs and app issues

Shoot, this is a legit problem. I guess there had to be one... Pixel C - 17 Mbps down N9 - 27 Mbps down N6 on Wifi - 30 Mbps down Pixel is slower on wifi. I've been using it for 3 days and havent noticed at all during regular use. But the test is pretty clear. Or is this just one of those Wifi...

If the Pixel C hadn't been released with a keyboard, would it have been received better?

Same here. Reviewers did a hatchet job on the Pixel C. My gosh. Every reviewer trashes it, every end user likes it... hmmmmmm......

Pixel C bugs and app issues

What I am saying is there is a keyboard shortcut ON the attached keyboard, which launches the virtual keyboard. Wondering if folks are hitting it by accident and thus launching the virtual one (it is litterally right next to the space bar and easy to hit). Wondering if that is why others are...

Pixel C bugs and app issues

Thanks for this! And I found out that the "..." pressed by itself opens the on screen keyboard. For those of you with problems with the on screen popping up, perhaps that key is being pressed? It is right next to spacebar, I supppose it would be easy to get it into the mix.

Pixel C bugs and app issues

Well again I never had the problem with the virtual keybaord poping up, and I have been using this all day for 2 days now. For Office apps, I use Word and Excel no prob. Haven't use dpower point yet. Microsoft wrote andoid (and apple) apps recently and they are free.

Pixel C bugs and app issues

Really? I must be doing something different. With the keyboard attached I never see the virtual keyboard, including when I tap a text input field. I wonder why the difference in our experience? In fact I have been trying to get the virtual keyboard to open. I'm wondering what keys are on the...

    My Initial Impressions & Pictures

Nice write up! This has been my experience well re: weight. Keyboard attached it is heavy. Keyboard detached it is comparable to N9. But, with keyboard attached it is always on my lap or a table so no worries there. Slapping it onto the back is annoying though, unless there is nowhere else to...

Ho. Lee. Cow. What did Google just do? (Pixel C)

Since M just came out (relativley) I doubt N is anytime soon... Samsung has had multiple apps for awhile. So a technical limitation is unlikley I would think. They must envision some "next big thing" with regards to multiple apps.

I have Recieved my Pixel C... Impressions

Regarding the display it is nice, crisp etc. It does have a glare like all tablets. But it is cloudy and rainy here so don't know about direct sunlight. One thing I should have mentioned earlier: I was seriously concerned about the weight and form factor while one handing it. I am relieved that...

I have Recieved my Pixel C... Impressions

Not saying they didn't have that experience, but I have not, typed all of this and the above on Pixel C. Also walked around the job site, using it as tablet and with keyboard. Granted, I have used it for 3 hours thus far. But it is ALL GOOD. Don't take my word for it, wait for some others to...
