    On my 7t I use either the Spigen Liquid Air, or the Caseology Vault. Both are slim, black, and grippy.

    gmail dark mode/theme

    As of right now I have the dark app store, but a light Gmail and a light Google and assistant. Ive had the dark Google and assistant twice now, but it is again light right now. Even my GF on an iPhone got dark Gmail before I did.

    I understand what you're doing. If you swipe up from anywhere on the screen then it opens the app drawer. If you swipe from below the screen (or below the white pill thing) and go up then it takes you home. I just learned something new I guess.

    That's not how it's been working on my phone. If I have the multitasking page up and swipe up again it brings me home.

    I never thought I would be happy with a "mid range" smart phone.

    No real bugs that I've noticed, just a half *** "dark theme" and a few other things that have been half assed. I went from a 1+ 6T to the 3a and it didn't really feel like a downgrade. There are actually a few things that work better on the 3a that are important to me.

    All these apps need to be fixed and have a dark theme pushed out. And fix the splash screens too. With Google's resources it shouldn't be this big of a deal.

    3a or 3a XL?

    3a is the way to go unless you want the bigger screen. The 3a and 3axl will get the same screen on time. XL will have better standby time.

    Have 3 different cases for my 3a and the gestures work fine on all 3. One of the 3 for some reason is a bit more difficult than the other 2, but still not bad.

    I'm not concerned yet. Its been smooth and responsive the entire time Ive had it.

    Android 10 official release changes/differences you've found

    You can still turn on auto rotate instead. I hate pulling my phone out of my pocket to send a text and having it rotate when I unlock the phone so I'm using the new on screen button for rotating when I want to.
