If anything my battery life has gone up from switching. But really the difference is negligible one way or another. What's your phone battery usage thing state is taking up so much of the battery? B/C in no way should a 3-->4 update half your battery.

So I reflashed 2 days ago w/ A4 and cleared the cache as suggested, but I am still getting the full battery notification. Is there a way to straight up format the phone completely so I can start from scratch? I'm not really worried about keeping any stuff on here cause it can be redownloaded...

Wouldn't barnacle wi-fi tethering work? I've used that for my PC and it's worked for the hour that I tested it.

I'll give that a try. But I did not clear the cache. I don't know how; I saw DroidX's method for doing it for the market, but which cache should I be looking for to clear and when should I do it?

I uninstalled droid essentials and charged my phone last night but the phone still gave me the annoying battery full notification. I double checked the hidden menus thing and that is correctly set. Anyone have a suggestion?

It may have been because I had an app called Droid Essentials running also in an attempt to shut the notification off. I completely forgot about that until just now so I uninstalled that. I'll update tomorrow after my phone's nightly charge is complete.

Use barnacle wi-fi tethering. It works extremely well and it's free. I didn't have a single hiccup with it during my one hour of testing it after I rooted my phone

That's very strange because I followed that post's directions but last night I still had the battery full pop up on when I woke up. I'm not sure if the notification sound went with it or not cause I might have slept through that part.

Where might I go about finding this "option" in the phone so I can turn it off?
