I have an Onkyo TX-NR609 also and just got my ChromeCast. Tried running it through one of the HDMI ports with it powered by AC plug and it won't show up on my TV. No video. Nothing. All my other HDMI components work just fine. I tried connecting the CC straight to the TV and it works just fine...
