This worked for me as well, in 2016! Factory reset... after realizing that was not the way I was supposed to do it!

I realize this is an old thread; but wondering if anyone may be able to answer a general question. If I apply this ROM, will it unroot my phone? I am having to send back to VM, and would like to "restore" without bricking! advise? I am currently using Gelato ROM.

I tried going back to my stock Gelato ROM, and did wipe data via recovery, but for some reason never could get it to go past the animation... just looped again and again. I tried flashing with the Mobster ROM, and got just a black screen. Found the Xionia WMA Recovery Flashable 1.251 zip on this...

I'm running the same baseband, and running Gelato 11-28. Haven't figured the partition trick yet, please update if ya do. I am running Link2SD; but when I try to change the default install location I get error "killed" I move most apps to SD card, and average about 30-40 MB free space.
