Verizon S3: How to stop the 4.3 update?

Re: How to stop the 4.3 update? I'm late with this message, but hoping this is useful for other people, there's no need to root for this workaround, and it turned out to be very easy, but I was in your same situation until I discovered how to do it: open the Security menu, and enter "Apps"...

Nexus 7 (2012) Bricked with USB Debugging mode disabled

I'm not sure if this will help, but I had a similar problem trying to get back from Lollipop 5.0.2 to KitKat 4.4.4, and what I did was re-running the flash-all.bat file in the Android Utility software, at the command line. I mean, I guess you already have that software, as you were about to...

Explain what rooting the Nexus7 does

I totally agree with you, Tyndall, and want to add my experience: I own the Nexus 7 2012 since 2013 and the experience out of the box was great. Never had the actual need to root that great piece of technology. Recently, like 1 week ago, I received the worst Android update, called Lollipop...

Back to 4.4.4 and rooted, then YouTube interface sucks. Why?

    Android Lollipop SUCKS!

Update: I kind of solved the issue... by switching back to KitKat 4.4.4 But that was pain, I even bricked my Nexus 7 2012 for half an hour, thinking I had screwed it up for sure, because when installing KitKat, it started a considerable delay at one of the final steps, and eventually returned a...

    Android Lollipop SUCKS!

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I've already wiped the cache, which actually did some temporary improvement, but then it's lagging again. It's very frustrating not being able to switch to another screen to, for example, uninstall some apps or even watch a video on youtube. :/

    Android Lollipop SUCKS!

Damn how I wish I had read your post before! I received this update last week, yes, on January 2015, and happily (and stupidly) updated Android, thinking "yes, 'til now, all updates have been improving my Nexus 7 performance and look & feel. Wrooooooong! Lag after lag, it's becoming almost...
