Factory reset was the answer.

Update: factory reset is a qualified OK. All email working thorough email app. Corporate not altogether there: subject lines and dates visible, but not text of actual mail. I have a feeling that it will take 24 hours to finish the sync (because it did when I got the phone originally). Best news...

Got the upgrade June 30. Only gmail works. Can't get yahoo or corporate. Can't delete the accounts, either... no matter what I do it says "invalid credentials". Have done several hard reboots in the last 3 weeks, but nothing. Today planning to try factory reset as other threads have mentioned...

Going to give them a little time to find less drastic resolution. Bluwtr49 the yahoo app is ok temporarily.

Spoke to VZW this morning. Invalid credentials is a "known issue". For workaround they suggest downloading individual apps (thanks so much for that) but nothing yet for corporate. Really??

Yes I've re entered pws several times. Found way to delete accounts in settings BUT again get invalid credentials and no delete. Think it's ics. Other issue (resolved) map app had no street names! Tried uninstall got into confusing loop "can't unistall" but play said installed... power off and...

Thanks for the suggestion. Yahoo's app is bearable and it does notify correctly. I wanted to delete all accounts and retry but can't get them to delete. According to Moto's new manual, from add accounts tap menu then delete account BUT when tap menu only option is to.sync and we know how that's...

Why can't I get my email after ICS?? I so loved this phone before ICS and I'm really not happy now - was looking only for global capability but so many ridiculous issues with ICS I'm wondering what they were thinking; couldn't they just keep the good and add the global? WHY do I keep getting...

What's up with e-mail? Do I really have to delete everything and start over? Gmail has a widget and that's working but I can't get yahoo (junk, but important) or corporate to work. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone on this....

To change the notification tone for text, tap text icon, menu, settings, etc. When you change through the main settings menu it only changes your email notification. Thanks to the person who originally pointed this out.
