Your phone has been set to encrypt its data. Once the phone has been unlocked, data is unencrypted when requested by apps. So to encrypt your data and then not use a screen lock to protect access, defeats the whole purpose of encryting the data.

I had one problem right after I got the phone in Dec. Never again since then. My wife liked my VZW charger so much she bought one for her phone and has never had a problem with her Turbo on it.

I am discovering that that maybe the case. I have a wireless back for an S4. I bought a cheap pad charger off Ebay. It charged fine, but when it reached 100% the phone would ding like it did when you placed it on the charger. Then it would drop a % and start charging again which caused a ding...

Just picked up the Verizon wireless charger/stand yesterday and mine doesn't have this problem. When the phone reaches 100% the only thing that cycles is a tiny red led at the base of the charger. The screen stays dark. Posted via the Android Central App

What are you using for a direct dial, a contact widget? If so you can't put widgets in a folder. Posted via the Android Central App

Did you try rebooting the phone so it did a media scan?

Well with 1 Billion+ android units out there it's kinda hard to do system apps updates all at once. I have all the other updates also. They are out there...

Google tends to have rolling updates for the major apps, some get it when released others have to wait days. Posted via the Android Central App
