so is it better to turn off the stock battery saver?

can some please help me out with this figures. i'm new to android and i'm feeling that the battery goes down much faster (compared to ios). 100% at around 4pm and now that it's 11pm battery is down to 79% with only minimal usage (few texts [/url] [/IMG]and call, wifi on for about 10mins)
