Have you tried using Greenify on your G4? i set it up and have it shut down about a dozen to 15 apps at a time and my phone runs cooler.

so you charged the battery again and you still can't play the video?

have you tried adding an app to shut down some apps that keep running? I loaded Greenify and i managed to shut down 12 or 13 apps that drain the battery and keep the phone running hot.
