It's not facebook you need the update from. You have to be on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

You'll have to wait til the Marshmallow upgrade. Until then, Periscope and Meerkat it is. A friend of mines has the Marshmallow and it's available for her.

I have a friend who has it on their android. They have the Marshmallow upgrade. Looks like we're going to have to wait til the update rolls around to our phone.
