This happens to me on ALL Android Devices. When I got my 6P I could get 3 Hours SOT in a full day. Now I get about 1:30mins SOT in a full day. No change in apps or usage. I think the Android OS just has a LOT of issues that even Doze can't fix.

If you already have service you can just put the SIM from your S6 into the S7 and do nothing else. The S7 will have a new SIM activated with your number. I always just use the old SIM and put it in the new phone (then take the new SIM and put it in a baggy if I need it later).

If I use Droid Optimizer and kill all apps the top left of my screen works again without a reboot. It is definitely some app glitch and not a hardware glitch.
