What do S7 Edge owners think of the S8/S8+?

The s8+ looks like a great phone but for the time being I will be holding onto my s7e I have been very pleased with the performance of Nougat on my s7e and don't see a pressing need or want to upgrade at this time I am eligible for an upgrade now so I know VZ would gladly like me to get a new...

    My phone is amazing now

I did also and have had no problems and great battery life since update In the past I have skipped FDR because of laziness or didn't feel it was needed but this time I decided to do it no excuses and the phone is running as good now imho as it ever has when it comes to battery life/overall...

Samsung GS7edge - Verizon Users Thread

Usually when you see that page updated on VZ wireless that relates to your specific phone model it means the update will be released soon, but this is VZ we are speaking about so temper your expectations

I guess we will see now if VZ can get the update out before the 3/29 s8 reveal August 22, 2016 was Nougat release, 6+ months ago Having been a VZ customer for years you know how slow they are pushing out updates to flagship phones so us getting Nougat last is nothing new but it is still...

    Verizon Nougat?

Not getting any patch of any kind for the s7e since November 2016 should give us all a pretty good idea how much of a priority the s7e is at Verizon The S8 will probably be my last rodeo with Verizon, if the Pixel II has IP68 and wireless charging Project Fi here I come

Samsung GS7edge - Verizon Users Thread

this^ We are sitting on October 1st 2016 security patch and we got that patch a month and a half late in November 2016 and that was the last patch we have seen for the s7e from VZ

Samsung GS7edge - Verizon Users Thread

The AT&T Galaxy S7 is getting its long-awaited Nougat update | Android Central The race to last getting Nougat is on, my money is on Sprint getting it first because Verizon will take a couple of extra weeks/months to make sure VZ Navigator and DT Ignite and all their other bloatware is working...

Well done Samsung the most expensive phone with the last nougat (almost) for a top smart phone

I can name one carrier that is behind you, Verizon I'm on October 1st security patch with the last update from Big Red for the s7e was November 2016 My first guess when the Nougat OTA would drop for VZ was February/April but at the glacial pace Samsung and VZ are moving that first guess might...

SOLID Information on Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge Nougat Update???

IMHO February/March at the earliest for me since I am on Verizon, last update I have seen from VZ was 11/16/16 and I am on October 1st security patch to give you some idea how fast & up to date VZ is with updates to the s7e so getting Nougat anytime this month seems like a pipedream

its been there for awhile: in the routine you set up the colors you want and then have "colored notification card" checked on in advanced settings
