I had same problem with AT&T S4 SGH-I337 only way to get back to stock ROM is to bring it to Samsung at Best Buy store and have them reflash it back to stock ROM. KIES needs to be updated for the lock that AT&T put on the bootloader. Believe me it's the only way.

Re: Recovery of stock MF3 firmware !! My Galaxy S4 was rooted also, as long as Samsung is at your Best Buy store and no matter if you bought it there or not, Samsung will restore your phone back to the original firmware 4.2.2 no questions asked. This is the only way to remove root 100% .

Why is it taking so long for AT&T / Samsung to update Kies software so we can recover/restore our stock firmware ??? I had to go to BestBuy yesterday to have Samsung erase/re install stock Mf3 4.2.2 firmware. I asked rep from Samsung about this problem with the Kies software and they blame AT&T...

I use nothing but Spigen GlassT tempered glass screen protectors on all my devices, can't even tell there's a screen protector on the screen. Very easy to install w/ no bubbles at all.

That's correct, there's no way to unroot, or a way to re install original firmware. I rooted my AT&T S4 with MF3 firmware before realizing there's no custom roms, no recovery, etc.... so i then decided i wanted to go back to my stock firmware. Only way i was able to get the original stock...
