Yeah, but there's another reason: Rooting. That was possible on unlocked versions but not carrier versions from ATT and Big V.

This IS a dealbreaker for me. Won't buy a device without it. Which means I'll probably have a Note 4 til the end of time. (And a removable battery, stylus, SD slot....)

Google pay, or now, Android pay, I guess it's called, has a physical credit /debit card making it already accepted everywhere. No loop pay needed. I can keep my awesome Note 4, thank you.
