ok so I'm on CM7.1RC1 and have been for a week or so now, with no real issue. Now, however, I keep getting a completely frozen device, and have to do the hard poweroff to get the thing to reboot. Sometimes it'll do it on the first app I load up, sometimes it'll run fine for a while. I don't get...

@telemike- I do use GV for most everything, but my family refuses to use my GV number, and you can't send pics/vids/whathaveyou with GV. @blackops- A 3rd party messaging app didn't even occur to me... will that work for MMS, like pics n such? EDIT: thanks, that worked.

So I got AOSPCmod on my optimus S, but I have no sprint apps. Messaging is what I need. to hell w/ the rest of 'em, but I NEED messaging. Anyone have like an apk to use for that? or what do I have to do???

ok, well, the new recovery worked just fine, and I've got AOSP's CMod up and running. any tips for moving from one rom to another? I'd really like to just move all my apps and settings and whatnot over. I tried titanium backup for this, but the problem is that it doesn't boot afterwards

I was flashing from a different SD card than I use for my data and whatnot. I've always done so, and Nameless flashed from that just fine, so that's not it. I'll try a different recovery later today

have I extracted what from the rar? the zips of the roms are all zips

yes I have tried redownloading the rom. it does not work. I've tried both scott pilgrim and the aospCMod and I've tried zeife's "flash this to clear yo stuff right" thing. it also does not work

ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.8 which is strange, because I thought I updated it to the latest Xionia... I'm not sure... I know I read that CM7 needs CWM 3 or higher, but I couldn't find that for the optimus S...
